The Jazz Junkies has “borrowed” the numbers provided by Hoops Hype to compile this spreadsheet detailing the Utah Jazz current and future contract situations. You can view which players are under contract and for how long, and approximately what each player is set to earn for the remainder of their contract. Be sure to click the picture though, because it is just a screenshot of the whole spreadsheet, which includes totals, a key, and more years.

Jeff Hornacek, part-time coach for the Utah Jazz had been rumored to be the leading candidate for the Assistant Coach position in Chicago as Doug Collins’ right-hand man. However, word today is that Collins will NOT be returning for a second coaching position with the Bulls, so it remains to be seen if Hornacek will still end up with a greater opportunity elsewhere, or stay put.
Jazz assistant, and also a former player for the Jazz, Tyrone Corbin has interviewed with Steve Kerr to be in consideration for the Phoenix Suns head coaching postion. However, it sounds like he is not the front-runner at this time.
If neither former Jazz-man gets an opportunity, it will be somewhat too bad – I’d love for them to continue to progress in their careers, but at the same time, it would be nice to keep them here. I’m not all that familiar with what Corbin brings to the Jazz, but I know that Hornacek can work wonders with players’ jump-shots.
